TESTIMONIALS

Welcome to the Testimonials page.  All things said here are inspired by CrossFitters currently "busting-a-move" here at CrossFit 916.

A huge thanks to everyone adding to this forum.

CF 916's Paleo challenge is coming to an end but I'm hooked! Thanks 916 for introducing me to the amazing Paleo/Primal lifestyle. I can now admit that I was fully addicted to sugar and grains. What a world of difference now that I have finally cut the crap. This is the first time in my life that I have felt in control of my eating. Cravings? What cravings?

I'm down 21 pounds as of today since mid-December. I am more toned then ever...welcome to the gun show baby!!

Aaron and all the trainers at CF 916 are awesome!! This place is amazing! THANK YOU!!

I bought the Groupon 12 Session Deal & attended 3 times per week. By the 12th session I had lost 4 lbs, this is merely the start to better & stronger - in everything. I joined the Crossfit 916 family without a second thought. Thanks for providing a physical & mental challenge in a POSITIVE & FUN environment. You guys are truly awesome!

My wife, Jess, and I were trying to do crossfit at a regular gym and decided to try Crossfit 916 since they offer the five free days. The first day we both loved the place. The trainers were friendly and able to help my wife and I work on our form and push harder during the workouts. Everyone there was (and still is) really nice and made it so much fun to workout. This place accommodates everyone despite their level of fitness and no one makes you feel judged if you have a rough time. We were happy to be able to join the family at Crossfit 916.

Thanks for what you've done Aaron and Kim!

I started working out at Crossfit916 nine months ago, and now I have lost 100 lbs. That's right, 100 lbs. This is the best exercise program I have ever done. I can't go to another "big" gym again. The classes and equipment that is offered at those gyms don't even come close to level of energy or intensity that you get at Crossfit916. I also love the community feeling that you get here. Everyone is so supportive and just fun to be around. I love this gym and I have turned into a crossfit junkie.

This month marks my one year anniversary at Crossfit916! I had practiced Bikram yoga for about seven years when a fellow student introduced me to Crossfit (big, big thank you Amber!) My initial plan was to come three days a week, practice yoga the other two and take it from there. That lasted all of about a month. Are you thinking kool-aid? Gulp, gulp...now it's on! I love it! I look forward to every WOD, and Aaron is hands down one of the best programmers in all of Crossfit. He is constantly thinking of innovative challenges keeping it unknowable. I am in the best shape of my life at 47. I can do things now with both strength and cardiovascular endurance that I couldn't do...EVER. My body is transforming and I feel great! It's never to late to get fit and Crossfit is scalable at any level.

OK, Climbing the rope is not my favorite!!! I'm way too old to have scrapes on the inside of my thighs!!!! But I must say I haven't had a pump in my forearms like that EVER. Holy smokes. Thanks for motivating me Aaron, Kim and Brooke. I have a competitive spirit again that I lost about 15 years ago.

Hard work pays off! After attending Crossfit for a month, I lost a total of 3.25 inches. Goal is at least 3 more inches in another month.

Thanks Aaron and Kimberly for the weekly motivations you two have provided me and of course I can't forget my hubby for standing beside me to support me. Here at 916, it feels like "ONE" big family and it feels great.

Did not know I had it in me! Muchas gracias Crossfit 916 for pushing me to capacity! When I started in Feb. 2011 I couldn't do a push up. Four months later and I am doing straight leg! Inspiring people leading to extraordinary achievements! Dig deep!

I started working out at Crossfit916 a month ago and I love it. I've never done any other type of work out that has kicked my butt as hard. In the first week I lost 7 lbs and in the first month I've a total of 18 lbs. This is the first kind of exercise program where I really feel optimistic about my weight loss goals and overall fitness.

I started at Crossfit 916 in June 2010 and I can honestly say that this is the only work out I've ever looked forward to. I lift weights for my D1 sport and it became a tedious weekly routine during the school year. Aaron and Kimbo make lifting and working hard fun. I didn't even notice that I was still doing the same lifts and weights that I did over the season because the mindset was totally different! If you're competitive like me, this program is perfect. Thanks Aaron and Kimberly for making working hard fun :) I'll miss you guys...Don't think you've seen the last of me though! I'll be back winter break and next summer !!!

Crossfit916 Armwrestling Champ right here, baby! (not sure if it counts though. I was the only sober guy there).

These workouts are pretty fun, even when they kick my butt. I gotta work on my cardio though. I get winded pretty quick. But hey, that's why I'm doing this, right?

Kimberly and I work together and I've known about her and Aaron's "fitness fetish" for some time. I always thought it would be so great to REALLY get into shape, and now after having two kids (one 3yrs and the other 2 months) it's about time! I'm so glad to be a part of Crossfit916 and to see how it grows in our community...awesome job Kimberly & Aaron! I can't wait for my husband to join the clan and see how we benefit from the hard work and sweat ;)
